Outstanding trip. We only had a limited time in the UK so to be able to see the battlefields of Normandy in one day and be back to our hotel for dinner was superb.

“A powerful personal tour of the beaches and gardens of stone…”
Michael graciously customized our ground tour starting at the Brittany American Cemetery where my great uncle is buried (see video of our Brittany visit https://vimeo.com/173420118 )
before proceeding to Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc and Normandy American Cemetery. We thoroughly enjoyed Michael’s special insight into both the strategic picture and rich battlefield detail. It’s a humbling, powerful experience walking these beaches where so many sacrificed and then visiting the pristine, peaceful “gardens of stone”, all with a guide who possesses a unique passion for exploring this historic invasion. With the single day itinerary from/to London we were able fit this fantastic tour into our tight schedule.
